In California alone, more than 21,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year. Sadly, breast cancer will take the lives of 4,000 women this year.
With your support, we can fulfill our promise to find a cure.
The race this year is on Sunday September 26th, 2010. This will be my second year to participate in the Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure. My best friend ever was diagnosed with breast cancer late in December of 2008. She is cancer free now, but it clearly opened up my eyes as to how many women and men are affected by this form of cancer. Sharon and I ran the race together last year and finished it just under 40 minutes. I will never forget that day for the rest of my life. I was and still am so proud of her for beating cancer. She is the strongest woman I know and I so grateful to be a part of her life. Sharon made it look easy to the outsiders, but I was there by her side in private watching her suffer through her treatment and surgeries. NO ONE should have to go through what my girl had to go through! We need to stand up together and raise money to help find a cure!
Please follow this link to my personal Susan G. Komen donation page and help out with what ever you can! No donation is too small!
Thank you and “One Love”.

Custom Mediterranean Style Home
801 W. Bay Avenue, Newport Beach, California
Wow! This beautiful Mediterranean style three story single family dwelling sure has come a long way since construction started earlier this year. I stopped by the job site this morning just before 6:30am. We are having some very unusual weather this summer. It almost felt like I was in Maui this morning. There was a beautiful rainbow in the sky. Actually when I left my house this morning there was a triple rainbow! Anyways, what a great way to start ones day right? Okay, back to the project on 8th and Bay Avenue. The windows and doors are all installed now. The interior is dry walled and ready for paint if the owner can get his painter to show up this week. The stucco contractor is now applying the color coat and the stone veneer by Eldorado Stone looks awesome! The roof is also stacked, but the roofing contractor has not installed the roof tiles yet so… I’ll have to go back out to the site in a week or so and check on the status of the job and write a new post. By the way, the 2010 OC Fair starts today at noon! I can’t think of a better way to start the weekend then getting some great food and drinks at the 2010 OC Fair!
